July Tidbits

After a too quick trip to see Aunt Neva, Uncle Andrew, Cousin Grafton, Baba, and Grandpa; August has had many new developments. He now...

Puts on his own shoes, well his Crocs. These are supposed to be his water shoes for school but they now just seem to be his go to shoes. I told him that we were going outside and when I turned around he had donned Papa's hat and put on his own shoes.

He finally did his growth spurt and now he once again looks like the Mason side of the family. Although his eyes are more the color of Papa's eyes than Mama's and we all know those dimples are from the Wehby Clan.

We spent 20 minutes as a family watching YouTube videos of kids singing the two turtle songs that we learned in Mass. There was much singing, signing, and clapping. He loves both songs. Thank you to Grafton and Baba for expanding our repertoire.

We are looking forward to a visit from Nena starting tomorrow. So I am sure there will be pics to follow.

Those people

So my parents have PTSD (Parents of Toddlers Stress Disorder) after the flights yesterday. I chose not to nap and instead to register my displeasure about leaving Grafton, Baba, Grand Pa, Aunt Neva, Uncle Andrew, Nana Arlene, and Pop pop Frank behind.

Mama says that she and Papa "were those parents of that baby" on both flights. But what are you gonna do. If I don't want to sit down and play nicely with my trucks, or go night night when it is time, I will just scream my displeasure at the merest suggestion of these things. The small and confined space only helps you hear my voluminousness cries. The stares and head shaking of the other adults help you understand that we should have just stayed in Vt/MA. Next time you will listen when Grafton says there are no goodbyes!
